The bond with unspoiled nature is felt up here in a very special way.
We don’t just live next to it – we live with it. It is part of us, and we are part of it. Nature shapes every moment, breathes with us, and lets us marvel anew every single day. Not out of duty, but out of joy, we create your stay at our sustainable hotel South Tyrol consciously eco friendly – ensuring that your time in Val Venosta is both mindful and rewarding.
Since 2006, our biomass heating system has ensured sustainable energy. Modernised in 2010 and rebuilt entirely in 2020, it now operates stronger than ever. What once began with 180 kW to supply the hotel, dependance, and farm buildings, today delivers a full 600 kW. Or as our craftsman proudly puts it: “The best oven in all of Val Venosta.”
To make sure no energy is wasted during your stay at our sustainable hotel South Tyrol, we installed a combined system in 2016, which allows us to heat part of our swimming pool with renewable energy.
Since December 2022, a photovoltaic system with 350 modules has been in operation on our roof. It supplies up to 132 kW – most of it in spring and early summer when the sun shines strongest. On one day, it even produced 942 kWh. For comparison: our daily consumption is around 1,300 kWh.
We rely on high-quality products from local suppliers. To strengthen our eco friendly hotel concept further, we have reduced the number of suppliers to just 20, cutting transport distances and emissions. Less transport means less traffic and noise. And the water from our taps? It comes straight from a mountain spring in Prämajur – fresh, pure, and full of energy.
Only the best for your skin – with a clear conscience. Our cosmetic partners, including TEAM Dr. Joseph, Alpienne, Kurland, and our in-house pinewood workshop, focus on sustainability. High-quality creams, soaps, oils, and serums come from TEAM Dr. Joseph, while the most popular peelings are sourced from Alpienne.
We want every guest to feel fully at ease – that’s why our hotel is completely barrier-free. One of our Alpine rooms is specially equipped for accessibility, and all three lifts provide step-free access to every important area in the hotel.
In winter too, travelling to our sustainable hotel South Tyrol by public transport is just as easy and convenient.
With the South Tyrol Guest Pass (VinschgauCard) you don’t just travel on the Val Venosta Railway – you also enjoy free use of all public transport throughout South Tyrol. This includes all regional trains as far as Trento, all city and regional buses.
In addition, you benefit from attractive extra offers provided by the local tourist association.
In Val Venosta there is a well-developed network of public transport, which you can use free of charge during your stay with the South Tyrol Guest Pass. In addition, we offer e-bike rental so you can explore the area in an eco-friendly way.
Yes, the hotel has three charging stations in the underground garage, each covering three parking spaces.
The charging stations provide a maximum capacity of 20 kWh.
You can control the charging process with your room key. The fee is automatically charged to your room at the end of the session.
We operate a biomass heating system, first built in 2006, upgraded in 2011, and rebuilt in 2020. The new system delivers 600 kW of energy. Part of the swimming pool is also heated via heat recovery.
