Route description:
The fascinating Latsch Sonnenberg mountain offers many impressive hiking trails. Starting point is the roundabout at Latsch / path number 8 (Schalenstein). From here, make your way to Platz (1,225 metres), Platzair (1,650 metres), St. Martin i. K. (1,740 metres). There is a possibility to ascend to the Vermoispitze (2,930 metres), Niederjöchl (2,662 metres) and to the access point for the Schnals Valley.
Alternative route: Latschanderwaal - rope bridge - Annabergerböden. To Ratschill (1,285 metres), the "Kreuzgang" to St. Martin.
Descent: panoramic high-mountain road to Schlanders or Ratschill - Lottersteig - Goldrain to Latsch. From Latsch, take the newly erected cable railway to St. Martin.
