Mountain walks
We know very well that it would be impossible to list all the hiking possibilities in Vinschgau. Here are just a couple of examples. We describe some of the most beautiful trails, that have a very particular charm in almost all times of the year. The tours are suitable for competent hikers, although no high-mountains or alpine experience is required. The maps indicated are only some suggestions, any more up to date hiking map is clearly appropriate.
The climbing paths described below include both clean climbing routes on untouched rocks and "vie ferrate" - faces fitted with fixed iron cables. In both cases, even for those routes classed as "easy", precision and a good preparation are essential. At any time, we will be more than happy to provide you a mountain guide who will take you safely up on the mountains and back to the Watles.
